- Pre-solicitation Notice:��This electronic announcement constitutes the Pre-solicitation Notice.�This is�NOT�an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a request for bids.� The 766th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii announces the anticipated release of Solicitation Number�FA521521B0001 for an Indefinite-Delivery / Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirement (SABER) contract.�All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the solicitation.�Contract award will be based on Sealed Bid � FAR Part 14 procedures. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation via https://beta.sam.gov.� There will be no paper copies of the IFB.� All solicitation information may be obtained through https://beta.sam.gov website.� Any questions related to this Pre-solicitation Notice must be submitted electronically via email to george.damian@us.af.mil and christian.freire@us.af.mil.� Please reference�Solicitation FA521521B0001�SABER IDIQ�in the email subject line on all correspondence.� Brief description of work: The SABER solicitation is for an IDIQ contract and shall encompass a wide variety of individual construction tasks as listed in the R.S. Means� Construction Task Catalog (e4 Clicks�).��The SABER IDIQ will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor alteration of real property for all military installations located in the Territory of Guam and the Hawaiian Islands. Currently, the construction projects are being performed in: Andersen AFB, GU (managed by the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron (36 CES)); Koke�e Air Force Station (AFS), Kauai, HI; Mount Ka'ala AFS, Oahu, HI; Wheeler Army Airfield (WAAF), Oahu, HI (managed by the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron (611 CES)); Bellows AFS, Oahu, HI (managed by the 18th Civil Engineer Squadron (18 CES)); and Kaena Point Satellite Tracking Station, Oahu, HI (managed by the 18th Force Support Squadron (18 FSS) and the 21st Space Operations Squadron (21 SOPS)). The SABER IDIQ will include the possibility of supporting other tenant organizations, not covered by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) under the JBPHH agreement. The SABER IDIQ will use a variety of trades including, but not limited to, concrete, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, interior/exterior electrical, roofing, pavement repair, excavation, welding, painting, site development/landscaping, asbestos abatement/removal, lead abatement/removal/encapsulation, and demolition. During the contract period, individual task orders will be issued to the contractor for specified projects.� Performance period for each project will be specified in each individual task order.� The Invitation for Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission at: https://beta.sam.gov. Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
