- This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services.� The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Subtropical Horticulture Research Unit in Miami FL., has a requirement to Remove and Replace existing Chiller. The solicitation number is 12405B21R0005 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFP).� The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. The work includes but is not limited to:� The contractor shall provide include all services and labor, equipment, materials, supervision and personal protective equipment necessary to remove and replace the existing chiller, associated piping and electrical equipment as well as disposal of existing chiller, piping and electrical equipment from the installation of the new equipment at the Subtropical Horticulture Research Unit in Miami FL..� The work to be done consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with the statement of work. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM)� prior to submitting a proposal. �You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. �If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information.
