- The Department of Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) has a requirement seeking sources to provide Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services for the pickup, setup, disassembly, repair, routine preventive/service/refurbishment, site assessment, disposal, storage and delivery service for a variety of different medical equipment for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System. Area of responsibility includes Puerto Rico all Municipalities, Vieques, Culebra, St. Thomas, and St. Croix. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This source sought, is looking for capable sources that will likely respond to the solicitation when published later. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NCO-8 market research. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties are asked to submit a capability statement that clearly and convincingly identifies their capability to fulfill the requirement. Capability statements shall be limited to no more than five (5) pages (including the cover sheet, table of contents and body text.) Detailed capabilities shall address each task or element specifically, explain your capability level and identify requirement experience. All information must be submitted by email to Frank Lloyd (frank.lloyd@va.gov) in an electronic format that is compatible with Microsoft Word 2013, no later than March 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. As part of market research, NCO-8 is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is NAICS 621610 - Home Health Care Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. The Product Service Code is Q201 - General Health Care Services. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. No Request for Proposal (RFP), Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP, RFQ or IFB. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes, proposals, or bids used for NCO-8 to award a contract based on responses. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. NCO-8 will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
