Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with the large business manufacturer Olympus America. The procurement is for Endoscope leasing and Service program. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334510. Equipment at the start of the lease will be a mix of factory new and continued utilization of specific scopes from previous lease. Any lease program needs to match existing facility Olympus infrastructure. Since this lease program is a continuation of the expiring lease, this procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, as no other supplies with satisfy the Agency s requirement. The anticipated award date: May 1, 2021. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Roseburg VAMC 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd Roseburg, OR 97470 Eugene Veterans Clinic 3355 Chad Rd Eugene, OR 97408 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
