Revision 1:� Added draft Statement of Work v1.2 Description of Requirement The U.S. Visiting Forces (USVF) of the 501st Combat Support Wing (501 CSW) at�RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom; is conducting a market research for interested vendors, to enter into a rental car / vehicle hire agreement.� This notice is for market research purposes only, no�solicitation exists at this time.� The proposed agreement would be five years in duration. The USVF is seeking vendors who�can provide short-term (daily and monthly) rental of passenger vehicles (small and mid-size cars, pickup trucks, multi-passenger vehicles / ""mini-vans"", and light commercial delivery vehicles).� As a government entity, the USVF is self-insured against damage or loss.� The exact number and duration of rentals varies from as few as 2 vehicles, to a maximum of 100 vehicles; from as little as three days, up to one year. Vehicles, Particular Four door, crew cab, drop side; Ford Transit or equivalent make and model Four door, sedans: Ford Mondeo Estate or equivalent make and model Multi-Passenger Vehicle (mini-van), nine passenger: Vauxhaul Vivaro or equivalent make and model Two door, single cab, truck; Ford Ranger or equivalent make and model 17 seater passenger van; Ford Transit or equivalent make and model 7.5 ton curtain side lorry Please refer to the Draft Statement of Work for more details. Historical Data Duration of On-Hire Historically, the 501 CSW�hires vehicles for one month at a time, but may hire vehicles up to one year at a time.� During monthly vehicle hires, the exact off-hire date is not known in advance, so daily extensions to the on-hire are needed. Quantity of On-Hire A maximum of 100 vehicles were hired under a single order, for a duration of 39 days.� On average, 54 vehicles will be hired for approximately 31 days.� The 501 CSW has also hired 12 vehicles for one year. Delivery Destination The most frequent destination is RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire (post code GL7 4DQ); however vehicles may be required at any of the other installations under the 501 CSW. Agreements, General Note:� The USVF seeks to into an agreement, which lays the framework for placing orders under such an agreement.� The agreement itself would not be binding.� If the interested vendor chooses to accept an order, placed in accordance with the terms of the agreement, the order would be binding.� Under the terms of such an agreement, each party (Government or Contractor) may discontinue the Agreement, provided the other party is given 30 days' notice of the intent to withdraw from the agreement.
