Questions and Answers posted 26 Feb 2021, (dated 25 Feb 2021) see attached.� RFQ amendment 4�posted 17�Feb 2021, see attached Questions and answers posted 1 February 2021 (dated 28 Jan 2021), see attached Due to questions and feedback received at the Site Walk conducted 21 January 2021 the Baggage Lift System RFQ has been amended. Amendment 2 to the Baggage Lift System RFQ attached. Question and Answer posted 6 January 2021, see attached See attatchment for full RFQ details. This administrative correction to amendment 4 to the Baggage Lift System Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice is to correct the date quotations are due. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All updates to the RFQ for amendment 4 are highlighted in green. All updates to the RFQ for Amendment 3 are highlighted in blue.. All updates to the RFQ from amendment 1 are highlighted in yellow. Please provide a quote for the items listed below by 1700 (5:00 PM) Central European Time (CET), Monday 1 March 2021. All questions regarding this Request for Quote are due in writing by 1400 (2:00 PM) Central European Time (CET), 23 February 2021. A site walk will be held for interested vendors on 21 January 2021 beginning at 1000. All vendors interested in participating in the site walk must provide the names of the individuals who plan to attend the site walk to the following individuals no later than Monday 18 January 2021 by 1400 (2:00PM) CET. brandon.george.12@us.af.mil, daira.rodriguez@us.af.mil, and tigran.gumushyan.1@us.af.mil All attendees must meet the team representative(s) at the Ramstein Visitor Center at 0930 (9:30 AM) on 21 January 2021 to process their base access. This is to ensure a prompt start time of 1000 (10:00 AM) at the site location. The Government reserves the right to not allow tardy contractors to participate in the site walk. � Questions shall be submitted via email to brandon.george.12@us.af.mil and daira.rodriguez@us.af.mil. The Government has no obligation to answer any questions received after the due date and time. This will be a firm-fixed price contract with one Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). Pricing for the below item shall include required delivery and installation to Germany. Vendors must be registered in the SAM.gov database to be eligible for contract award. The funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date. In the event the Government cancels solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The Government will review the lowest priced quote for technical acceptability. If that quote is found to be technically acceptable, the Government will not review any other quotes for technical acceptability. If the lowest priced quote is not technically acceptable, the Government will review the next lowest priced quote for acceptability, and if found acceptable, no other quotes will be reviewed. This process will be followed until the Government finds a technically acceptable offer. The Government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to enter discussions with offerors as deemed appropriate by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to conduct interchanges with offerors as deemed appropriate by the Contracting Officer. Compatibility: The baggage handling system (BHS) needs to be compatible with closed baggage bins. Recommendation: Universal pivot joint on suction foot will allow for system compatibility. Working Space Inbound conveyor: Length: 2100mm Height: 4848mm Width: 5490mm (this is the total width however, system cannot protrude into the Baggage breakdown area Working Space outbound conveyor: Length: 21,000 mm Height: 4,848 mm Width: 5,490 mm (this is total width however, system cannot protrude into the baggage breakdown area A minimum of 2 systems need to be installed in the outbound area to cover the required working dimensions. Lifting Capabilities: Maximum bag weight: 45 kg Baggage type: ALL (hard shell, soft shell, military deployment, weapon cases, etc) Ability to simultaneously unload/load up to 4 baggage bins For example: 4 hoses with suction feet for inbound and 8 hoses (4 per system) for the outbound area Lift position: The ability to lift baggage from any position/placement of suction foot on bag i.e. center, off- center, sides, etc. Safety Features: Automated suction kill-switch when contact between suction foot and baggage is poor.
