- Solicitation #: � 21-005416 Closing Date: March 5, 2021 at 10:00 EST Date Posted: Feb 26 This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.� The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC) Department of Laboratory Medicine (DLM), has a requirement to procure reagent kits samples supplies used for research clinical testing for patients at the clinical Center. The NIH, CC intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Lab Product on a sole source basis to procure animal storage supplies that matches existing previously purchase to diagnose treatment on unique conditions /diseases required for on-going experiments at the clinical Center. �Lab Product This vendor manufactures an provides the most extensive line of laboratory animal housing and care equipment available. The mouse cages are exclusively for housing micepdensity housing with up to 180 individually ventilated cages ( IVC�s) per system. RAIR HD Super Mouse 750� Racks hold mouse populations of up to 900 adult mice in one mobile unit, with 2 differe siz that� can be mixed and matched as needed. The design delivers low velocity HEPA filtered air to each cage while capturing cage effluent air. This is a sole manufacturer for animal supplies and supplies over many years of research due to ���demand of the supplies. The Clinical Center Animal Research Center� must have enough resources to support research without interruption for research testing protocol. � This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting.
