Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Satellite and Information Acquisition Division (SIAD) located at 1325 East-West Highway Silver Spring Metro Center Building 2 (SSMC2) Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, intends to extend task order 0001 under contract AB133E16CQ0022�for 3 weeks with 2 additional options for 3 weeks. The services that will continue to be performed during this extension are 1) to provide monthly climate monitoring reports for Public release, 2) provide quarterly climate summaries, 3) respond to user requests and provide a monthly summary of user needs, and 4) provide quarterly Climate Impact and Outlook Summaries. The monthly climate monitoring reports shall, in coordination with NCEI�s monitoring and assessment group: Provide a regional overview of temperature, precipitation, and drought statistics and highlights. Provide a regional overview of climate impacts within the region, including elements such as crop conditions, reservoir levels, and energy demand. Provide historical context on climate events and episodes that are defined conceptually and are not directly measured by instruments and observatories, such as heat and cold waves, drought, severe weather events, and water shortages.� For RCCs that also provide National Capabilities, they must also provide Error Reporting and Tracking Status reports, Cooperative Observing Station information daily, and NWS COOP Support Reports.
