Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 01, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 1 (New England), 623 Atwells Avenue, Uncas Bldg., Providence, RI 02909, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1) for annual maintenance on seven (7) government-owned Medivator Advantage Plus ADV-1007 Endoscopy Reprocessing Systems, and two (2) DSD-201 Medivator Endoscope Washer for the cleaning and sterilizing the scopes used in endoscopy and surgical services.� Machines are�located at Veterans Administration (VA) Boston Healthcare System, Endoscopy Department, 150 South Huntington Ave Jamaica Plan, MA 02130 and VA West Roxbury, 1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA 02132 to Medivators, 9800 59th Ave N. Minneapolis, MN 55442.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement within 3 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
