- Description
- Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, (FCC Coleman) located at 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida intends to solicit for the provision of a Sally port style gate replacement.� This solicitation should result in the offer of a single contract award.� The contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and the North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 238290 � Other Building Equipment Contractors � Automatic Gate Installation with a small business size standard of $ 7.5M.� In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, all contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System with Management Award Database (SAM).� The website to register is www.SAM.GOV.� The Statement of Work (SOW) is available for download in the attachment section of this solicitation to allow each contractor to read and review all specifications needed for the work required by FCC Coleman.� The SOW includes the necessary specifications and scope of work needed for the replacement of the Folger Adam �J-Operator� gate.� Furthermore, the required parts and components for the replacement of the Folger Adam �J-Operator� gate has to be exact match and FAR 52.211.6, for all other than exact match, contractors must document what they are bidding for evaluation for award.� Contractor must include, extended specifications and/or manufacturer name and part numbers (if applicable).� Failure to do this may result in non-consideration of the Bid/Proposal/Quotation.� This information is REQUIRED in order for a contractor�s Bid/Proposal/Quotation to be evaluated for award.� The solicitation period will be open from February 12, 2021 until March 5, 2021.� The quotations will be due by March 5, 2021 by 1500 (3:00 pm) via email.� Those quotation can be sent to smuniz@bop.gov and d1barr@bop.gov.� While the solicitation is open, there will be an opportunity to conduct a site visit on February 25th, 2021 at 10:00 am and the meeting place for the site visit will be at the Training Center which is located adjacent to the COVID-19 screening site.� Please make sure that you bring your own face mask to maintain compliance with CDC guidelines.� The necessary paperwork, such as the NCIC paperwork, for the site visit will be available for download in the attachment section and it has to be submitted via electronic email to d1barr@bop.gov no later than 1500 (3:00 pm) EST on February 18, 2021.� All future information and/or updates concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be conducted through this website.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information regarding this acquisition.� Furthermore, any questions regarding the solicitation have to be sent via email to smuniz@bop.gov or d1barr@bop.gov and any questions regarding the solicitation or site visit must be in via email to email addresses listed no later than March 3, 2021 by 3:00 pm. Faith-based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.� This solicitation is unrestricted.� The contract shall extend from its effective date once it is awarded until the completion of the Folger Adam �J-Operator� Gate.�
