Description: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION; not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to: (1) determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency�s requirements exists, (2) determine if commercial items suitable to meet the agency�s needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency�s requirements, and (3) determine the commercial practices of company�s engaged in providing the needed service or supply. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. Requirement: This notice is issued by the U.S Coast Guard, Director of Logistics (DOL 9), Norfolk, VA to identify sources capable of providing (service/supply).� A Draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached under separate document to this Sources Sought Notice; the Draft Statement of Work is subject to revisions at the sole discretion of the Government. Interested parties are expected to review this Notice and the draft Statement of Work to familiarize themselves with the requirement. This notice is to identify businesses capable of providing Full Food Services at Base Kodiak, Alaska for a base period plus four option years, if exercised by the Government, with an anticipated start date of October 2021. � This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposals, nor should it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. The information received will not obligate the Government in any manner nor will the Government reimburse companies for any costs associated with submittal of this Sources Sought. Summary of Services The work is to provide Full Food Services at Base Kodiak, Alaska for a period of a base year and four (4) option years. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached in separate document. All Interested parties should provide responses to the contact representative below by email. Please provide your interest in writing and the business size, capability statement, location and past performance. Past performance information should include recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers and other relevant information). Interested parties are asked to furnish this information for at least three (3) contracts, ongoing or completed within the last three (3) years, for like or similar services, held with the USCG, other Government agencies or private industry. All notification and information regarding this sources sought will be issued electronically only through FedBizOpps. Interested business entities should be registered on www.fedbizopps.gov. Further, business agencies must register a business profile with the System for Award Management (SAM). If you are not registered, you may request an application at (866) 606-8220 or through the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov.� Questions over the telephone will not be taken. Keep in mind, this is a sources sought to help identify if there are any potential offerors and to research the federal market to understand the competition. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this research. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) is 722310 (Cafeteria Food Service Contractors) standard size value of $41.5 million. The Government will incur no obligations or liabilities to anyone for any costs or expenses incurred by the respondent in responding to this sources sought. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future RFP. The information provided in this sources sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government or the respondent.
