- Description
- United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under the number 12444021Q0004. The resultant contract, if any, will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.� In support of Vault and Septic Toilet Pumping Services for the Tellico Ranger District, located in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision, supplies except as identified in Government furnished property. Biobased products will be required to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. The products should first be acquired from the USDA designated products categories. The Government anticipates issuing�this solicitation as a�100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562991 Septic Tank and Related Services, with a Small business size standard of $8.0M. The anticipated contract period is May 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, with Four (4) option years. The closing date and time for submission of offers shall be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation package shall be made available on the beta.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities Web Site at�https://beta.sam.gov/. Requests for copies of the solicitation package, or any cumulative parts thereof, by any other means shall not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the beta.SAM.gov website for the release of the solicitation package which is estimated to be posted on or about 19 March 2021. All firms wishing to submit a quotation�to the solicitation, must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://beta.sam.gov/) or risk their otherwise timely quotation being considered non-responsive regardless of its completeness, timeliness or other salient considerations. Information on SAM registration can be obtained at the following web site:�https://beta.sam.gov/. No response to this announcement is required or requested. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. The solicitation subsequent to this announcement may be cancelled at any time without warning. After solicitation, and prior to award, all offers may be rejected if in the best interest of the Government or the public. This announcement does not obligate the Government to pay for any offer and or quotation preparation costs.
