Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract N00019-21-C-0004 to the 45, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75071-28133, for the procurement and delivery of 19 APY-10 Radar System Production Kits and related support for the P-8A Poseidon Aircraft for United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). This contract was awarded to Raytheon in the amount of $60,748,615. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0039, 23 December 2019, and CJ&A Addendum 1 dated 25 February 2021, attached.
