Description
The purpose of this contract is to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to Native Connections (NC) grantees.� Native Connections is a five-year grant program that helps American Indian and Alaska Native communities identify and address the behavioral health needs of Native youth.� Specifically, the program supports grantees in: Reducing suicidal behavior and substance use and misuse among Native youth up to age 24 Easing the impacts of substance use, mental illness, and trauma in tribal communities Supporting youth as they transition into adulthood This requirement will provide technical assistance and training to grantees of the Native Connections program and assist in wide scale dissemination of best practices and lessons learned.� The technical assistance and training will focus on evidence informed practices and promotion of mental, emotional, and behavioral health.� Questions concerning any areas of uncertainty which, in your opinion, require clarification or correction must be furnished in writing to Heather Orandi, Contract Specialist, at SAMHSAContracts@samhsa.hhs.gov� on or before February 26, 2021 with the subject line �RFP No. 280-21-0561 � Questions.� Please submit a completed �Proposal Intent� form by no later than�February 26, 2021, indicating your intent to submit a proposal under this RFP.� The form is provided as�Attachment 7�and is needed for review as well as administrative planning purposes. SAMHSA will be receiving proposals electronically utilizing NIAID�s electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) website. See the package and delivery instructions in Attachment 8. Your proposal must be received by the Contracting Officer by no later than�3:00 p.m. ET on March 19, 2021. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ AMENDMENT 1 - Answers to Questions Recieved Please see the attached responses to the Questions recieved by 02/26/2021. Additionally, Section M.2.a was updated to correct the numbering in that section.� The updated RFP is attached. The submission date remains the same - Your proposal must be received by the Contracting Officer by no later than�3:00 p.m. ET on March 19, 2021.
