- The U.S. Army Contracting Command -�New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) Benet Laboratories anticipates issuing a Request For Proposal (RFP)�on or about March 18, 2021 to develop an Ammunition Data Link (ADL) system where data is transferred from computer system emulator to the round directly through our system.� A secondary modification kit was developed to assist the integration on the system to the existing turret of the M1A2 tank.� ADL Cover Plate is one of the components required to facilitate installation.� This effort will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) single-award contract with an estimated quantity, including options, for this�effort�of three hundred (300) sets of cover plates.� The Government intends to solicit this requirement through 100% set-aside Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SBVOSB).� The Period of Performance will be twenty (20) weeks from date of award and shall be completed upon delivery of all three hundred (300) ADL Mod Kit Cover Plates.� The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for the ADL Modification Kit Cover Plates is 332710 with a small business size standard of 500.� Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database by accessing the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for contract award. Product Description: An aluminum CARC finished cover plate.� The cover plate will need to meet the standards, specifications and dimensional requirements contained on provided product drawings.� In addition, 100% inspection will be required for 8% of the lot quantity for each item.� Inspection reports and materials certifications will also be required.� This cover is part of vehicle modification kit used to install the ammunition data link system to the Abrams tank.� A delivery of fifty (5) Cover Plates is required ten (10) weeks after date of award and two hundred and fifty (250) Cover Plates are required twenty (20) weeks after date of award.� Each Plate will need to meet the standards, specifications and dimensional requirements contained on provided product drawings.� In addition, 100% inspection will be required for 8% of the lot quantity for each item.� Inspection reports and material certifications will also be required.� Packaging is specified in the Statement Of Work (SOW). This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice, and the Government anticipates the release of a formal RFP on or about 18 March 2021.� Any information or exchanges between contractors and the Government concerning this notice are at no additional cost and/or obligation to the Government.
