- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure a 10 Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST) Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) Kits and 10 combination cases with associated upgrade labels. This action is to be awarded on a sole source basis to AAI Corporation, doing business as Textron Systems, located in Hunt Valley, MD under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. The required items and part numbers are as follows: quantity of seven (7) MLU Kits, P/N 40469-40006-10, with options to purchase three (3) additional MLU Kits and 10 combination cases, P/N 37534-90000-1, with associated upgrade labels, P/N 40469-40393-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.� All inquiries and concerns must be addressed to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Kyle Welge at kyle.welge@navy.mil.� Responses to this notice must be submitted by 25 March 2021.� A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in a future competition.
