- Description
- This project provides for the design and construction of a new one story 40,422 SF Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility for the Defense Information System Agency (DISA)/Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The new facility is located adjacent to the existing JITC Building 57305 on the secure JITC compound and is replacing three temporary buildings. The facility shall function as an electronics lab to support requirements for DISA/JITC. The facility contains multiple test labs, server rooms, DISA net kiosk, lobby with central resource help desk, and a break room.� Additionally, there are the typical building support functions including mechanical, electrical, fire protection and communications equipment rooms. Except for utility rooms, the entire building is a Secure facility (COSA standards). The Project also includes underground utilities, paving including access roads, storm drainage, exterior and site lighting, site improvements, landscaping, underground communications infrastructure to connect the new facility, and all applicable AT/FP (Antiterrorism/Force Protection) measures. Utility services are in the proximity of the site and shall be brought to the new facility. Estimate contract range is $25,000,000-$100,000,000 The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The solicitation will be available on or about 23 March 2021 with proposals due on or about 23 April 2021. The acquisition will be conducted under a competitively negotiated source selection process. The acquisition strategy is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Sub-contracting plans are required for all construction contracts awarded to a large business when the award amount exceeds $1,500,000.00. If the offeror is a large business, the firm will be required to submit a sub-contracting plan as part of its proposal package. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check beta.sam.gov frequently for any amendments or changes to the solicitation.
