- Description
- The proposed effort, entitled Advancing Next Generation Training Solutions (ANGTS) aims to advance Marine Corps training capabilities by evolving emerging training technologies (Augmented Reality), developing training capabilities for human-robot teams, improving operational visualizations for RF signatures, revolutionizing infantry training After Action Reviews, and integrating physiological monitoring measures into a Human Performance Ecosystem. This effort will advance the state of the art with many innovative training and operational capabilities to prepare the warfighter for battle. ANGTS will improve performance, features, and usability of the Warfighter Augmented Reality system that can be used in both operations and training. ANGTS will also expand spectrum visualization and signature management capabilities for infantry marines by adding relevant sensors, cell tower prediction models, radio frequencies, acoustic signals, and support additional signal propagation and signal prediction features. Additionally, the effort will integrate marksmanship assessment with after action review, develop visualization of performance metrics, and provide Adaptive Recognition Reviews to analyze decision making performance. ANGTS will develop a Human Performance Ecosystem to collect, review, analyze, and visualize physiological measures during live training events. Lastly, the ANGTS effort will advance human-robot team training by developing assessments and integrated after action reviews, and creating a common operating picture using multiple inputs including command and control tracking protocol. None of these capabilities fully exist and will drastically enhance training and operational capabilities for Marine Corps infantry.
