Description

REPLACE KYVC FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, TEHAMA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for the replacement of a fire alarm system, a commercial item. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to this solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition FAC 2021-03 as of February 16, 2021. The solicitation number is 140P8421Q0017 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is a Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561621 with a corresponding size standard of $22 million in annual receipts. Quotations are requested via this notice only. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ. The Contractor shall provide a complete code compliant fire alarm system capable of coverage for the Kohm-Yah-Mah-Nee Visitor Center (KYVC). The system shall use all new equipment and shall meet the requirements for complete coverage, using primarily smoke detectors (except where prohibited) as defined by NFPA 72, applicable codes, and other project requirements. The existing system shall be removed including the fire alarm panel, detectors, horn/strobes and wiring. The conduit can be reused. See Attachment 02 - Specifications for more details. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Participants will meet at Lassen Volcanic National Park, Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center (Southwest Entrance), 21820 Lassen National Park Hwy, Mineral CA. Period of Performance: April 12, 2021 to May 28, 2021
