DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 21 (NCO 21) Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) has an immediate need for an attorney for a full range of legal representation and services to represent VANCHCS psychiatrists seeking to certify veteran conservatees at Medication Capacity Hearings, also called Riese Hearings. The contractor will provide attorneys for Riese Hearings and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) hearings. Solicitation Number 36C26121Q0422 for this effort will be posted to beta.SAM (https://beta.sam.gov) on or about March 8, 2021. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications and information necessary to quote the project. All request for information must be submitted no later than 3 days prior to quote due date. Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date).
