Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3, 4 & 5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Boathouse Removal project for Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Bayfield, WI. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary to de-construct a storm-damaged historic boathouse on Devil�s Island, separate and label materials into salvageable and non-salvageable categories (as determined by Park staff), transport all materials back to the mainland, place the salvageable materials into storage (at a location determined by Park staff), and dispose of all non-salvageable materials. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6421R0003. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in April-May 2021 with performance expected to begin in April-May 2021. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Bayfield County, WI will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238910, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location may be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit (if applicable) to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available in March 2021 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM/FBO website at https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
