Description

Q&A NOTICE Q&A Version 1 has been posted SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation and associated attachments are now posted. SOLICITATION NOTICE Requirement: Repair the water system at Plaskett Meadows Campground.� Items of work include but are not limited to:� Remove and replace water lines (approx. 200� on a base line item and 1500� on an option line item), valves and appurtenances; re-construct fence enclosure (approx. 400�); remove debris and small trees (along fence line); remove 13 trees 2�-8� DBH trees near well; re-constructing ditch (approx. 200�); and fabricate valve box lids and horizontal well lid. Location: Plaskett Meadows Campground is located approximately 50 miles Northwest of Willows CA.� From Willows take 162 West for 21 miles; Turn right on 162 West for 14.4 miles until the end of the pavement; travel 12 miles on FH7 and arrive at Plaskett Meadows Campground on the left. Estimated Magnitude of base and all options (Price Range): between $25,000 and $100,000 Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start on or about 1 May 21 and be completed within 30 calendar days. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221310. The related small business size standard is $30.0 million. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit/Pre-Quote Conference: No organized site visit is scheduled.� Snow may be encountered accessing the site therefore it is recommended that PRIOR to visiting the site prospective contractors are encouraged to call the Mendocino National Forest Supervisors Office at (530) 934-3316 to determine access. Bonds: A bid guarantee is NOT required to be submitted with quote.� If quote is between $35,000 and $100,000, payment bond or ILC will be required for 100% of the award price and be submitted within 10 days after contract award. Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their quotes but not later than 4 business days prior to solicitation due date. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting to beta.SAM.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Solicitation is anticipated to be posted on or about 4 Mar 21. �Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
