- Description
- The purpose of this award is to transition USAID�s procurement of HIV commodities needed for the PNFP sector from USAID�s central Global Health Supply Chain Program�Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) and Rapid Test Kits (GHSC-RTK) mechanisms to multiple local procurement agents. These agents will�provide procurement services for HIV related health commodities�while establishing and operating a safe, secure, reliable, and sustainable procurement management�system for HIV/AIDS commodities (pharmaceuticals, test kits, supplies, laboratory reagents)�needed to provide care and treatment of persons with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. The contract action was�competitive and was a local set-aside, the IDIQ has both�fixed price and reimbursable line items that will allow program requirements to be met.
