Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.� The Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Contracting Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: To acquire a Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Fully Enclosed Mill with integrated tool changer. (1) Haas VF-2 . The VF-2 is a fully enclosed vertical milling CNC suitable for prototyping small parts for acquisition test and evaluation. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Phillips Corporation, Federal Division.� (See Justification for further details). The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 1000. �All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time, March 15, 2021.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.� For questions concerning this Notice of Intent, contact Ms. Toni M Foster, toni.m.foster.civ@mail.mil.� Posting date of this requirement is March 9, 2021.� A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.�
