Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office Atlantic (RHCO-A), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a firm fixed price sole sourced contract for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Ft Bragg, North Carolina to E3 Diagnostics, Inc. The requirement is to disassemble, transport and reinstall double wall exam booth (Sound room equipment) from the WAMCs main hospital to the Joel Health Clinic. The period of performance is for 19 April 2021 thru 19 May 2021. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ21Q0089. E3 Diagnostics, Inc. has performed routine and preventative services on this sound room equipment for WAMC in the past. The relocation of medical sound room equipment from Womack Army Medical Center to Joel Medical clinic must be performed by a team of professionals with medical grade hearing booth dis-assembly, assembly and certification skills. WAMC lacks the manpower and skilled technicians to perform this task. The sound room relocation is an urgent requirement for the hospital because it is hindering patient care as it is currently not in use because its no longer needed at WAMCs main hospital and the Joel clinic is in need of an additional sound room due to patient care capacity issues. Due to the complexity of this medical equipment and urgent need for medical care, E3 Industries can perform this service within the time restraints of the WAMC re-organization and movement of clinical areas. This is a time sensitive move to allow for the re-organization of the Joel Clinic, the movement of resources to the Medical Center and the completion of the transition to DHA standards. This is not a request for quote, and no telephonic request will be honored; the solicitation will be posted on Beta SAM within the next 10 to 20 days. The requirement will be using NAICS Code 811219. All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed via the internet at www.sam.gov/. Confirmation of SAM registration will be validated prior to awarding a contract. POC is Michael J. McCollum (michael.j.mccollum12.civ@mail.mil) and the Contracting Officer is Mr. Lonnie Robinson (lonnie.k.robinson.civ@mail.mil)
