Description
Sole Source Synopsis: Tear Down, Test, Evaluation and Repair of the Fuel Quantity Test Set TTU597/E, P/N BC849A6010-000 PSC: J049 NAICS: 811219 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract to ULTRA ELECTRONICS ICE, (CAGE Code 5Y111), for services of Tear Down, Test, Evaluation and Repair of the Fuel Quantity Test Set TTU597/E, P/N BC849A6010-000 in support of both the Australia and India MH-60R programs.� ULTRA ELECTRONICS ICE (CAGE Code 5Y111) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). ULTRA ELECTRONICS ICE (CAGE Code 5Y111) owns the proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed product drawings for the Fuel Quantity Test Set TTU597/E, Part Number (PN) BC849A6010-000 and does not have any authorized distributors for this equipment. The Government does not possess the technical data. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
