The Government proposes to acquire, on a three-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum contract quantity of 15 each up to 120 each maximum with a 15 each delivery order minimum of an INDICATOR, MULTIPLE; NSN: 6680-01-554-2978; Part Number: 8KE88TAC1 applicable to the BK CH-47 Chinook weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 360 Days after Date of Receipt of Order (DARO) with deliveries to TINKER AFB, OKLAHOMA 73145-8000. This item is restricted to AMETEK INCORPORATED, CAGE CODE: 97424 and their authorized and approved distributor, KELLSTROM DEFENSE AEROSPACE INC., CAGE CODE 1ZK21. This item will be acquired for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer as indicated. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by emailing inquiries to: usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ame-sar@mail.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
