Description
This is a sources sought notice 36C24421Q; this is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. The Philadelphia VAMC is seeking SDVOSB/VOSB and any small or large company regardless of Socio-economic category that can provide the requirement as spelled out in the Statement of Work (SOW) and items below. The veteran business must be registered in betaSAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small or large businesses must be registered in betaSAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to the sources sought: Company Name, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Certification from the manufacturer that they have permission to provide and install any systems or software. Are you a manufacturer, dealer, or distributor? STATEMENT OF WORK Biological Safety Cabinet Background: The Philadelphia VAMC requires two biological safety cabinet to upgrade the laboratory space for the Microbiology section. The biological safety cabinets are needed for safety measures when working with infectious materials. The cabinets will provide personnel, product and environmental protection. They are required by OSHA and Laboratory regulatory agencies. Scope: Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service wishes to obtain a onetime task order to procure the needed equipment. Objectives: The equipment procured shall perform according to Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI), OHSA and SEFA-1 specifications. Tasks: To meet the needs of the Medical Center, there is a brand name or equal requirement for the Nuaire Biological Safety Cabinet and accessories. The equipment must meet the following salient characteristics: 4 wide Class II Type B2 Biological safety cabinet Must offer total exhaust Must be able to perform all maintenance from the front of hood Must have touch screen controls for operation Must have automatic UVC lighting and activation for decontamination. Depth of cabinet not to exceed 36 and width not exceeding 55 Telescoping base stand included Monolithic steel exterior Must have access to an electrical outlet within the hood so that equipment needed for testing can be plugged in while working under the hood. Must offer valve attachments for vacuum All attachments/parts required to make hoods fully functional upon delivery should be included.
