- SCOPE OF WORK Waco Med Rooms Card Reader Access installation and upgrade PROJECT # 674-21-2-5065-1322 Buildings 11,91,94 Requirements The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the services to install card reader access (and accessories) to the listed medication rooms located on the specific building listed below. This will include but not limited to full operational installation or upgrade of any existing card reader systems for the specific rooms. All work performed will be done at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Waco, at 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas 76711. After all work is completed, the contractor will have a final walkthrough with the VA COR or Alternative COR to ensure all work is completed and ready to receive payment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained. All work must comply with local, state, federal regulations. All work shall be done in accordance to the terms, conditions and specifications that meet NFPA 70 standards along with OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. Note: The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required for this contract. Period of Performance: The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW in 60 calendar days or less from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). If the contractor proposes an earlier completion date, and the Government accepts the contractor s proposal, the contractor s proposed completion date shall prevail. Contractor shall not work on Federal Holidays unless VA COR deems it necessary. Schedule power outages will be on weekends and cable splices will be on weekend. Project Requirements The attached submittals are to be installed at a minimum; any alternate equipment will need to be approved by the COR prior to installation. Please see attached. The vendor will be required to inspect the existing access system and install the following equipment.
