Description
The General Services Administration (GSA), Information Technology Category (ITC), Office of Enterprise Technology Solutions (OETS), seeks to support the Federal deaf and hard-of-hearing community with readily accessible, state-of-the-art, competitively-priced, commercial telecommunications relay in satisfaction of the Telecommunications Accessibility Enhancement Act of 1988. This synopsis describes upcoming changes in the management of relay options for Federal customers currently provisioning services under Direct Order -- Direct Billed (DODB) Task Orders issued under IDIQ contract GS00Q13NSD3000 which is set to expire on 15 May 2021.� Commercial relay providers are encouraged to offer services to the Federal community under one or more of the provisioning platforms described below:��� Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS): Includes relay services available through certified carriers under the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) program. � Federal Supply Schedule:� Includes Relay Conference Captioning (RCC)/Communications Access Real Time Translation (CART) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) available under Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), Special Item Numbers (SINs) 541930, Translation and Interpretation Services, and 561320SBSA, Court Reporting, Transcription and Coding Services. � Other Federal IT/Telecommunications Vehicles:� Includes managed, customized, or innovative relay solutions which may be offered within the scope of other Federal vehicles including: � SIN 561422, Automated Contact Center Solutions (ACCS) SIN 517312, Wireless Mobility Solutions SIN 54151ECOM, Electronic Commerce and Subscription Services Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) The Federal Relay program aims to leverage innovative relay technologies and capabilities including managed service solutions, automated speech recognition, Direct Video Conferencing, and Real Time Texting.� Relay providers are encouraged to participate by offering services and solutions under one or more of the platforms described above.� Interested parties should consult these contact points and respond as appropriate.
