Description

The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to International Technegroup Inc. (CAGE Code: 74722) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide CADIQ and CADfix software licenses, upgrades and technical support for a period of one (1) year at Fleet Readiness Center East (NAICS 511210 per the Purchase Description). CADIQ, a vendor-neutral application, identifies model-based design [MBD] data quality issues that impact downstream re-use for manufacturing, simulation, data exchange and collaboration. CADIQ enables you to validate critical engineering processes including engineering change, revision control and manufacturability. CADfix geometry translation and repair tools allows users to maximize the re-use of CAD data in downstream CAD, CAM and CAE applications. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items.� Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from International Technegroup Inc., the original equipment manufacturer of this CADIQ and CADfix software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
