Description

This is a NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION and is not a request for competitive proposals.��The Department of Commerce/NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)/Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) intends to negotiate with and issue a sole source, firm-fixed price modification to Plaza Fueling Agents, Inc., Hackensack, New Jersey 07601, purchase order number 1333MF-20-P-NFFM-0065-P21003, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAC 2021-05, effective date 3-10-2021.� IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source, and as authorized by FAR 6.303-2(b)(2).� The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is�324110 and the Size Standard is 1,500 EMP.� The award was issued on March 5, 2021. NEFSC, Sandy Hook, New Jersey has an urgent requirement for the delivery of additional quantities of low sulfur #2 diesel fuel oil for heating purposes due to unforeseen extreme weather conditions (deep freeze) in that region through contract end date April 30, 2021.�� The Government has issued a modification in the amount of $24,000 for additional heating oil quantities to maintain heat in the facilities.� This notice of intent is not a request for quotes.� It is for informational purposes only.� For any questions concerning this Notice of Intent, please direct correspondence to Susan Faux via email at susan.faux@noaa.gov.��All correspondence must reference 1333MF-20-P-NFFM-0065-P21003.
