- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Rockwell Collins (13499), for the repair of 1 line item in support of the ARC 210 program. The intention of this solicitation is to add this one line item to the established LTC N0038319DPS01 that expires 10/17/2023. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document. This contract will include the repair of NIIN 01-692-9246. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Rockwell Collins. Rockwell Collins is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above optic sensors. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Based on Market Research, the Government�s need cannot be met by a type of item customarily available in the marketplace, FAR Part 12 shall not be used. The applicable NAICS code is 334419. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Based on Market Research, the Government�s need may be met by a type of item customarily available in the commercial market place that would meet the definition of a commercial item at FAR Subpart 2.1. The contracting officer shall solicit and award any resultant contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
