Description

The Food and Drug Administration/Office of Acquisition and Grants Services has a need to expand professional development and educational opportunities afforded to the FDA scientifc community. Background:� The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has the need to leverage an advanced external leadership development program for its emerging leaders to ensure that staff has the requisite competencies needed to successfully carry out the CVM mission. CVM participants will work with agency executives to tackle complex issues confronting our country.�Participants�will develop strategies for streamlining drug approvals, strengthening collaboration during food recalls and improving recruiting for mission-critical occupations. Through this, CVM participants will learn to create a cadre of change agents and expand CVM�s reach by connecting with leaders at other agencies.��Objectives:�This requirement is for four(4) staff for CVM for 12 months (spring 2021 through 2022) to develop strategies for streamlining drug approvals, strengthening collaboration during food recalls and improving recruiting for mission-critical occupations. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice.� Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement.� A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� It is anticipated that an award will be issued to the Partnership for Public Service, within approximately 15 days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.� Response Date: 1:00 p.m. ET on March 17, 2021.
