- Page 2 of 2 36C24221Q0588 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTEND TO SOLE SOURCE REMOTE SITE TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYSTEM SYRACUSE VAMC CBOCs The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office NC02 in conjunction with the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 334513 with a services disabled veteran organization small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Trillamed, 30100 Telegraph Road Suite 366, Bingham Farms, MI 48025 This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price sole source for Temptrak remote site temperature monitoring system. Trillamed provides a remote site temperature monitoring system - temptrak that has a proven success record working to meet the stringent O.I.T protocol requirements for a Virtual Network Server that needs to pass information through the VA Firewalls. The system is flexible to be custom tailored to provide configurable alarms Notices / Emails to individuals. It gives the ability to give unlimited granted access at each location to view current status and historic trends of their Fridges/Freezers without any additional cost for user access. Another key points on this system is that at the Syracuse VA there is a group of Operational Engineers (OE) that monitor the facility 24x7. With this system the Syracuse CBOCs will be able to integrate status and alarms into their DCS via BacNet protocols to add an additional level of protection for the medical supplies, therefore it meets VHA Directive 1108.6. Other persons may identify their interest by responding to this requirement by Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 10 am EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
