- GSA Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Management Division, Florida Branch (4PQF) 501 E. Polk Street, Suite 805�Tampa, Florida 33602 is issuing a PRE?SOLICITATION NOTICE for a Request for Proposal (RFP), firm fixed price general construction contract to perform the work listed below in the project summary.�This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns�under NAICS 236220, (size standard $39.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. Project Location: US Federal Building & Courthouse � Fort Lauderdale 299 East Broward Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 Project Summary: This is a Design Build project to renovate the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) office space as specified in the applicable drawings, specifications, and Statement of Work (SOW).� The final SOW to be provided upon RFP issuance. The Contractor shall provide design and construction services for 1646 square feet of office space on the 3rd floor of the Fort Lauderdale Courthouse.� The office design shall consider all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements to provide a functional space to the proposed floor plan.� Additionally, the design shall address the following constraints: architectural, access controls, intrusion detection system (IDS), as well as intercom, door, electrical, and communications requirements.� The office space will be designed for the distribution of private offices, workstations, an IT room, storage/file room, interview room, conference room, reception area, office machine area and circulation area. The bid guarantee shall be at least 20% of the bid price. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. The solicitation issuance date will occur on/about 26 March 2021. The pre-proposal site visit is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, 21 April 2021.� Interested vendors must pre-register to attend. � The tentative total period of performance is 210 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be registered and current within the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov to receive a government contract award. Interested prospective offerors are encouraged to review and provide preliminary requests for information, comments, and recommendations regarding the project documents enclosed herein. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice may be utilized for purposes of market research.
