Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Sargent Aerospace & Defense for the procurement of Original Equipment Manufacturer hydraulic manifold assemblies and associate directional control valves and servo valve for use with U.S. Navy Submarine hydraulics systems.� The Government intends to make an award in the 4th quarter of FY21.� This is a new requirement. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Sargent Aerospace and Defense is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy�s requirements for the specified effort.� The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement.� The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� �Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail to the attention of Jillian Staskin via email at jillian.staskin@navy.mil.� The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is 4810.
