- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.� RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS NOTICE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. This source sought notice is being conducted to identify potential sources that could design and develop a Detonator Circuit Tester, a portable test instrument used to check firing pulse produced by launch tube closure detonator circuit, using Model-Based Systems Engineering. �This Detonator Circuit Tester shall be a contractor design that utilizes a development process that consists of design changes and traceability of the design to the requirements in an architecture model.� The contractor shall have the capability to conduct a Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, and a Test Readiness Review. In addition, sources are being sought to identify potential sources that could manufacture a return thermal system hose assembly. This source sought notice is issued solely for market research information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses will be treated as information only.� The information submitted in response to this source sought notice may be used to help the Government further define its requirements. RESPONSE DEADLINE: Interested sources shall submit a capability package by 5:00 PM (EST) on March 17, 2021 (15 pages or less) containing: (1) Company name and Address; (2) Company Point of Contact; (3) Email Address; (4) Phone Number, (5) specifics addressing the tasking listed above and company�s capability, 6) related past performance and 7) general corporate information. Facilities and US citizen personnel must have a Secret Clearance or higher, and be International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant. In addition, prospective sources should be able to receive, generate, modify and store classified documentation. Electronic responses are acceptable if prepared in Microsoft 2016 compatible format. Email electronic responses to Jose Blanco (email: jose.blanco@ssp.navy.mil) with ""Sources Sought Notice 121CNGSC1"" in the subject line of the email. Responder should indicate which portions of their response are proprietary and should mark them accordingly. Failure to provide a response does not preclude participation in any possible future competitive RFP for which a business is eligible to participate in, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the interested businesses to monitor the beta.SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to any potential acquisition.
