- Description
- The Iowa City, IA VA Health Care System (HCS) has an estimated annual requirement for twelve (one kit per month) AmpFLSTR Profiler Plus Kits which are used for Short Tandom Repeat (STR) Testing. Kits are to be used by the Iowa Regional Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics Laboratory (Tissue Typing) for measuring post-transplant donor engraftment for bone marrow and hematopoietic transplant patients and solid organ transplant patients. The Tissue Typing lab is contracted with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Transplant Services to perform post-transplant engraftment testing for their adult and pediatric transplant patients Note: AmpFLSTR Identifier Plus PCR Amplification Kit Short Tandom Repeat Reagents mustbe compatible and work with the Applied Biosystems 3730 DNA Analyzer, currently being used by the Iowa City VAMC Tissue Typing Dept. Required Line Items: Kits must come ready to use out of the box. Five Dye Technology � FAM, NED, JOE and Sizing Standard ROX Product Size: 200 reactions Amplicon Size: Less than 360 bp Sample Type: DNA (Genomic) Forensic Sample 9 STR loci and Amelogenin co-amplified in a single tube Loci must be consistent with all major worldwide STR standards 9 core loci required for sample entry CODIS
