- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.� NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.� This is will be a paperless acquisition.� Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Point of (www.beta.sam.gov) on or about 16 MARCH 2021.� No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561730, Landscaping Services. The size standard is $8 Million. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Small Business. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the acceptable, responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to this solicitation, offers the Best Value to the Government. The Government intends to award this requirement without discussions. The US Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Mowing Services at Rend Lake Project in Benton, IL. The requirement will include providing all personnel, equipment, material, supplies and labor required to perform mowing, vegetative control, and grounds maintenance in recreational and administration areas and/or other areas set forth in the attached appendices as specified herein and as directed by the Contracting Officer or his/her authorized representative.� The terms ""Vegetative Control"" and ""Grounds Maintenance"" include, but are not limited to mowing, to include trail mowing, trimming, rotary cutting, vegetation control (herbicide application), waste water treatment lagoons, unmowable areas, along guard rails, fences, sidewalks, impact sites, beaches, parking lot areas, and along roadways. Additional documentation shall be issued with the solicitation.� Any qualified and interested companies must be able to support all areas.� NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted.� The Government is seeking only, qualified, experienced sources interested in executing the contract and will provide Rend Lake Project with efficient and effective performance-based contracting with highly-qualified, fully trained, professional, and dedicated workforce. A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled for approximately 3-4 days after issuance of the solicitation/request for proposal. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) prior to the time established for receipt of offers as specified in the solicitation.� Potential offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM will render your firm ineligible for award.� Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number.� Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for a timely award.
