DESCRIPTION OF WORK:� Project work consists of maintenance dredging the 9-foot Anclote River Channel and Turning Basin. The resulting material will be transported to and placed in a temporary upland dredged material management area (DMMA) to be constructed as part of this contract. The DMMA will consist of an earthen-diked containment basin using barrow onsite and a weir dewatering system. Hauling of dewatered material and demolishing of the DMMA is not part of this solicitation. Incidental work includes endangered species monitoring, sea turtle trawl capture and relocation (for hopper dredges only), bird monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and gopher tortoise capture and relocation. Anclote River Channel is located on the State of Florida in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE OFFEROR WHOSE PROPOSAL REPRESENTS THE BEST VALUE TO THE GOVERNMENT.� PROPOSALS WILL BE EVALUATED IN THE AREAS OF TECHNICAL MERIT AND PAST PERFORMANCE. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The performance period is approximately 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Offerors are responsible for providing a� clear, well organized proposal.
