Description
The Undersea Warfare Weapons, Vehicles, and Defensive Systems Department, Code 85, of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for both supplies and services to improve efficiency and bring effectiveness of MK 695 TSTS support to an optimal level and mitigate against expected component and assembly obsolescence. It includes a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) services component for repair, obsolescence and engineering analysis, prototyping and technical documentation generation, and field operations support, as well as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) hardware component for the procurement of replacement hardware. The contract type is anticipated to be a five-year, Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinitely Quantity (ID/IQ) hardware contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) provisions. A single award is considered appropriate since the contract is predominantly comprised of firm fixed price delivery orders for products with unit prices that are established in the basic contract. This requirement is being solicited on an Unrestricted basis. See attached solicitation for more details. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. Offerors must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to receive access to the attachments (see RFP Section L for more details). No comments, questions, or inquiries shall be made to any Government person other than the following point of contact: Alexander Sasso, alexander.sasso@navy.mil. Questions submittal by 2:00pm Eastern on Monday, 1 March 2021. Proposals submittal by 2:00pm Eastern on Monday, 16 March 2021. AMENDMENT 0001 The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide answers to industry questions and make any necessary updates (see Attachment N6660421R02220001) AMENDMENT 0002 The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to extend the closing date of the solicitation from 3/16/21 to 3/30/21 at 1400 EST.
