- Request for Information A.� Purpose:� This is a Request for Information (RFI).� This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.� The Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is seeking firms doing business in North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 511210, Computer Software Publishers. This request is issued for the purpose of conducting market research to: seek a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) leadership and management training software solution equal to Harvard ManageMentor (HMM) Licenses, per the Salient Characteristics listed in Section G of this RFI; assist DAU is refining it requirements and its acquisition strategy; and, receive information and feedback on vendor interest. B. Introduction/Background:� DAU supports federal students that enroll through the Federal Acquisition Institute to take Contracting courses and students that have access to the DAU intranet.� To deepen the acquisition workforce's leadership and management skills, DAU utilizes Harvard ManageMentor 11 software subscriptions.� These training modules are integrated into DAU online certification courseware, which are required training for the A&S Logistics community. �These modules use interactive case studies, practice exercises and expert feedback to help the workforce develop the necessary skills needed to apply learning on the job and become even higher performing managers and leaders. C. Objective:� DAU seeks a new software license subscription for Harvard ManageMentor training licenses. D.� Response Requirements: Responses to this RFI must include: Company name, address and phone number Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code and DUNS number Primary Point of Contact name, phone and email address A summary description that demonstrates the ability to meet the aforementioned objectives.� Respondents should provide complete responses to each objective addressed above. If respondent has a government contract vehicle such as a Federal Supply Schedule or other government-wide use contract that would address the scope of this requirement, please indicate contract number in your response. E.� Deadline: The Government requests interested parties to submit the required information via email with the subject line �Customer Relationship Management� to Irene Vance at Irene.vance@dau.edu by 2:00 pm (EST), Tuesday, 9 April, 2021. F.� Disclaimer and Important Notes: This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal/Quotation; and, it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor will the Government pay for any information provided; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this RFI or Government use of any information provided. Failure to submit information in sufficient detail may result in considering a firm as not a viable source and may influence competition and set-aside decisions. Regardless of the information obtained from this RFI, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as deemed appropriate for this requirement. Respondents are advised that the Government be under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION and DO NOT SUBMIT OFFERS.� G.� Salient Characteristics: To be equal to the current HMM, these modules should employ A variety of flexible, self-directed learning asset options Support a variety of learning styles through a mix of formats Interactive management and leadership case studies Practice exercises Knowledge reviews and Final Exams On-the-Job action plans to extend learning to workplace World-class commentary by top business leaders to help the workforce develop the necessary skills needed to apply learning on the job. In addition to the base module, alternative learning assets must be available: Instructor-led slide-based assets to teach the module in classroom situation Webinar materials Supplemental and Standalone Podcasts Supplemental and Standalone Videos License flexibility that allows DAU to freely break apart the above assets for insertion into any other DAU asset provided to the federal workforce.
