- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Point of Contact: Melissa Henderson Melissa_Henderson@fws.gov THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY, WHICH WILL BE USED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION; PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PRICING INFORMATION IN YOUR CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), is seeking capability statements for the purpose of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for this requirement. Thus, interested Small Business concerns are encouraged to submit capability statements for the Information Technology (IT) requirement identified herein. Small business concerns are defined as any Small Business entity covered under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19. For example from Small, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses. The Government intends to use NAICS, 562211 (Hazardous waste disposal facilities combined with collection and/or local hauling of hazardous waste). The Government also intends to award a single Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with the periods of performance consisting of a One-year base term, plus four one-year option periods. In addition, FWS intends to use the resultant contract as its primary source for fulfilling all of the stated requirements. Interested sources must submit a Capability Statement specific to the IT requirements outlined in this notice. This is not a solicitation announcement. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized via the Federal Business Opportunity website. It is the potential offeror�s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. This sources sought announcement is for informational and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for any information solicited. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. Requirement Title: Information Technology Client Computer System Disposal. Objective of IT Requirement: Successful offeror(s) shall provide support to the FWS, Division of Information Resource Technology Management (IRTM) mission and to the individual missions of the other FWS program offices. This may include support to other Department of Interior (DOI) service or staff offices, DOI Bureaus, and FWS state and Regional Offices nation-wide. In doing so, the requirement provides for disposal of FWS client computer desktops, laptops and servers. All services requested are non-personal and are not inherently governmental in nature and will result in issued Task Orders (TO) from the Contracting Officer (CO), under an IDIQ contract. I. Key IT Service Requirements: Services must support the following tasks as part of the Service Lifecycle for desktop computers, laptops and servers. II. Media Sanitization. a. Hard drive documentation: Certificate of destruction documentation must be provided listing the serial number for each hard drive and verification of physical destruction (shredding), per NIST 800-80 standards. b. Location of destruction activity: Capabilities should demonstrate destruction of hard drives within the United States, ie, no offshoring. c. Waste Disposal: Capabilities should demonstrate adherence to all Federal and State regulations pertaining to the disposal of E-Waste through certified sources. III. Asset Shell Disposal. a. Shell disposal. Capabilities should demonstrate disposal as a qualified R2 recycler and must demonstrate adherence to all Federal and State regulations pertaining to the disposal of E-waste through certified sources. b. Local service availability. Desired capabilities include local on-site pickup and hard drive destruction at the following locations. � Albuquerque, NM � Anchorage, AK � Atlanta, GA � Falls Church, VA � Hadley, MA � Honolulu, HI � Lakewood, CO � Minneapolis, MN � Portland, OR � Sacramento, CA � Shepardstown, WV � May include additional locations TBD Capability Statement Submittal: You are requested to provide electronic responses (15 pages maximum) via e-mail to the primary Point of Contact (POC) identified below. This response will consist of a summary and a 13 page maximum capability statement. The summary shall include the company name, address, primary POC and telephone number, company�s average annual revenues for the past three years, total number of employees, and its Government size standard/ type classification (Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-owned, Service Disabled Veteran, HUBZone, business). The summary page will count towards the maximum page limit. It is insufficient to provide only general brochures or generic information. Interested parties may also include their GSA contract number and corresponding Special Item Number (SIN), if applicable. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PRICING INFORMATION OR COMPANY-SENSITIVE (PROPRIETARY) INFORMAITON IN THE CAPABILITY STATEMENTS.
