- Description
- The NASA Shared Service Center (NSSC) intends to solicit its SalesForce Center of Excellence (CoE) Phase II requirement�on a sole source basis to Creative Systems and Consulting that will lead to the full buildout of the CoE. The CoE supports the Agency Applications Office�s (AAO) initiative of pursuing platform-centric architecture. The CoE will serve as NASA�s new primary system of engagement for all NASA Salesforce-related initiatives and projects, while integrating with other core platforms, applications and services to provide centralized, authoritative data access, driving NASA�s ability to make data-driven decisions via a single source of truth. The agency will benefit from the CoE by being able to leverage pre-existing SalesForce instances and source code to ensure a common agency-wide platform, which will lead to efficiency gains, eliminate duplication of work, minimize the need for software customization and lower compliance risks. The External Relations Office (ERO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (OSTEM), Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) and Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) are among the program offices that have SalesForce environments and will benefit from this service. The NSSC will conduct this acquisition pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(a)(1)(C), which states, ""In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original GSA FSS order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable GSA FSS ordering procedures. The original order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures."" Please see the attached Limited Sources Justification for more information.
