Description

The USDA Forest Service has recently completed a reorganization of its Acquisition Management division; please note new name of Procurement and Property Services (PPS). Part of this reorganization includes a thorough review of the Incident Blanket Purchase Agreement (IBPA) portfolio, with the intent of creating a more effective, efficient and transparent process of obtaining wildland firefighting resources. (IBPAs are competitive agreements solicited through the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) Program as required by the National Solicitation Plan and Federal Acquisition Regulation.) We have finalized the changes and would like to invite you to a West Zone (Regions 3, 5, 6 and 10) Vendor Engagement virtual meeting. The West Zone Supervisor along with Contract Operations Supervisor will be hosting 3 interactive sessions. These engagement meetings will cover several topics including; introductions, new organization overview, critical points of contact, 2021 solicitations, 2021 rollover modifications and more! Vendors are encouraged to type questions into the chat window as Contracting Officers will be standing by to answer them in real time. Questions that cannot be answered at the time of the meeting will be researched and addressed through a public posting on the VIPR website. Finally, we are extremely confident these changes will be well received within the vendor community and hope to see you in one of the sessions outlined below. **Please download the attached word document for links to each live event.** Session 001: Tuesday; February 23, @1800 pacific.� Session 002: Thursday; February 25, @1900 pacific.� Session 003: Wednesday; March 3, @1800 pacific.�
