- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Air Power Consultants Inc., 18903 West 157th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66062. The back-up power system is part of a larger facility upgrade estimated to occur in approximately one year. Air Power Consultants Inc. is the only source for renting compatible Eaton back up batteries. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) �Soliciting from a Single Source.� Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to Brittany.Myers@ssa.gov by 4 PM EST on March 22, 2021. No telephone calls regarding this matter will be accepted or returned.
