Description

The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis with Army, United States Department of the� doing business as Family Morale Welfare and Recreation Program 301 C Street Bldg 300 Yuma, AZ, 85365-9498 United States. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement provide a total of 1,680 meals, to include 840 breakfast meals and 840 diner meal from 27 March 2021 to 10 April 2021 to feed visiting personnel in support of Marine Special Operations Company Hotel. Hot meals are to be provided in portable food containers (mermites) furnished by the vendor for unit to transport and serve meals in the field. Breakfast beverage shall include choice of water, coffee or milk. Diner beverage shall include choice of bottled water, bottles/canned soda or bottled/canned tea. Portable food containers will be picked up by unit at the time indicated in the scope of work (meal schedule). Meals shall include individually package condiments, disposable utensils and napkins. Meal times are subject to minor adjustments in order to fit mission requirements. A 72 hour notice will be provided to request changes to the meal times. Army Regulations (AR) 215-1 Chapter 12-2 states �MWR programs are the primary provider of prepared foods, beverages, and entertainment in membership clubs, non-membership food, beverage, and entertainment programs, and snack bars incidental to MWR operations.� MWR is the only authorized entity permitted to sell food on USAYPG. (MWR) will prepare all meals in accordance with the Army Master Menu. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) NAICS Code 311991, �Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing,� with the size standard in number of employees of 500. Award for this requirement will be accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 22 March 2021 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST).
