- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. Scope of Work: ���� CGC BERTHOLF Reefer Repair The CTR shall be familiar familiar with 3.2 Ton York refrigeration units containing Blitzer model HSN5353-25-40-P compressor with R-134A. KTR must be familiar with brazing and general pipe repair for R-134a and ship board hot work. The CTR shall complete the following: 1.������������ Remove existing isolation valves, solenoid operated valves, and strainers identified by CG personnel and references components highlighted in yellow for reference only. Configuration onsite may vary. 2.������������ Repair or rebuild existing pipe runs between components that are leaking or have been damaged. 3.������������ Install provided valves and strainers. 4.������������ Conduct pressure test of system to ensure leak free installation, to be witnessed by CG peroneal. 5.������������ Conduct groom of system after fully operational, submit CFR with findings. 6.������������ Provide Marine Chemist to certify spaces for any hot work. Coast Guard will provide the following parts: 1.������������ (8) 5/8 solenoid valves 2.������������ (2) � inch solenoid valves 3.������������ (2) Bitzer solenoid valves 4.������������ (1) 5/8 ball valve 5.������������ (13) 3/8 padmount valves 6.������������ (6) Brass strainers Period of Performance: Primary: 5 APR � 16 APR Place of Performance: Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA?
