Description
PRAIRIE DOG CREEK FENCE: The BLM office in Miles City, Montana has a requirement to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to reconstruct a 4-wire fence (3 wires barbed/bottom wire smooth). The project shall consist of removal of approximately 4,126 rods of woven wire and the construction of approximately 4,056 rods of new 4-wire barbed fence (3 wires barbed/bottom wire smooth) with 3 steel posts to 1 wood post ratio and construct 70 rods of new barbed 4-wire fence (3 wires barbed/bottom wire smooth) with wood posts. All specifications, requirements, drawings etc. will be included in the solicitation which is anticipated to be posted on/about March 30, 2021. Response date for the quotes will be on/about April 30,2021. Work under this contract is located in Carter County Montana Work is anticipated to start by May 15, 2021 or as soon as ground conditions warrant. Contractor shall have 121 days from Notice to Proceed to complete the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $16.5 million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $250,000. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $35,000. Payment protection shall be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. Prospective contractors shall be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database or failure to submit all required quote information as identified in the upcoming solicitation may make an quotor ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.beta.sam.gov. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to rundlin@blm.gov at least seven business days before closing. There is no site tour scheduled. However, quoters are urged and expected to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. Pictures of the terrain shall be included with the solicitation. In no event shall failure to inspect or understand the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
